Ex- MIC Vice President and Former Segamat Member of Parliament Dato S S Subramaniam , 72 joined Parti Keadilan Rakyat in a special ceremony Coordinated by myself.
Joining Dato S S Subramaniam is 20 years Branch Chairman Dr Streram Sinnasamy of Petaling Jaya Selatan MIC Division together with 10 other Branch Chairmen from the same . Also announced dissolution of Pekan Meru MIC Branch is it’s 15 years Branch Chairman Lawyer Palaya.

While announcing his defection to PKR , Lawyer Palaya says he was very much stunned with prompt action taken by Selangor Menteri Besar YAB Tan Sri Dato Khalid Ibrahim whom within three days took action on his letter regardings a Hindu Cementery in Meru. The Cemetery was gazetted way back in 1925 with over 300 body buried there was degazetted by Barisan Nasional Government to build Stalls . During Barisan Nasional ruling, the Land Office wanted proof that it was a cemetery and bodies buried there. But, when we produce whatever documents available they ask us not to involve as it’s State Assemblyman project.

Veteran Politician Dato S S Subramaniam whom was former Bukit Rajah State Assemblyman and former MP of Segamat says though he is now 72 years, he wanted to make some changes so that our younger generations be benefitted, especially our Education system. He further added that MIC President always look into caste when choicing it’s leaders.
“By God’s grace I don’t have financial problem thus it’s not my intention to support Anwar Ibrahim’s PKR” he further added. Neither do I have any interest in getting any position but I cann’t simply tolerate with BN.

In welcoming Dato S S Subramaniam, Dr Streram Sinnasamy, Mr Palaya and all other MIC leaders Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim says that we are not angry with Samyvelu or MIC, we just wanted Safer Malaysia for every one of us.Refering to Dr Streram’s statement that MIC Selangor AGM recently made resolution to support Prime Minister and Support Samy Velu as it’s President, Anwar asked why cann’t they make resolution asking government on what Happen to Youngster A Kugan whom died in Custody and more than 80 dead custody mostly Indians. Just imagine if it’s was a son of a “Tan Sri” . Note: Police brutality shoot a pregrant woman and her husband who was linked to kidnap of Former Selangor Menteri Besar’s Son.
PKR Defacto leader added that what we need is a New Approach in Malaysian Politics with every one as Anak Malaysia. As what they done in Sarawak, the Indian communities now can get new political parties registered easily. Their aim is to get Indian communities get confused thus dilute your bargaining power and they remain in power forever. I urge Indians to remain united and be with party that will continue to defend their rights , as PKR will continue to defend the right of every citizen.
